Hohe Tauern 

Hiking through the mountainous region of the national park Hohe Tauern, And going through all its valleys. I started to take photographs of all the captivating scenery I was passing by. Those photographs formed the series and played the foundation for the book. 

When I returned, I started editing the images, after which. I began noticing how much all the images were blending into each other, and with this, I started to form new landscapes. that's when the idea for the book Hohe Tauern formed. 

The book represents this idea of the blending and merging of new and more abstract landscapes. while not transforming the photographs them selfs. Making to book out of Riso printed images, gave me a way to give the images a more monochrome look. In turn, giving them the same level playing field to interact with each other. Furthermore giving them space to stand on their own.
